Since nobody likes a grumpy blogger, I will spend this time sharing "The Things That Please Me, July edition."
Neutrogena Micromist Airbrush: Self tanner that requires no rubbing or blending, thus leaving the little sections between your fingers orange-free. I bought Level 2 since my natural skin tone is pale white, not just white: pale white. However, I think next time I buy it, I may take the risky plunge into Level 3. I have faith that my co-workers will quickly tell me if it looks bad. They're always so honest.
Big Brother: New season starts tomorrow night, and I am so excited. I don't know how I will possibly fit in 3 hours a week of TV-watching time, but I will find a way...even if it means that my children won't get baths until the night after the finale.
Sugar-free snowcones: Don't get me wrong, I would much rather enjoy a sugar-packed jumbo sized snow cone. Silver Fox is my favorite (coconut & vanilla), but while dieting I will happily accept the calorie-free Splenda version. It prevents me from jumping off the proverbial edge.
Red heels: They magically transform a so-so outfit into a slightly sassy outfit. But they hurt. They hurt bad. I had built up my tolerance for them before getting pregnant with my daughter, then had to hide them in the back of the closet for months. My tolerance has since dwindled, and they once again cause pain. Maybe they are the reason for my grumpiness?Decorating ordinary pushpins with flowers: This simple task really dresses up a bulletin board. Items needed: pushpins, hot glue, small fake flowers.
Jillian's Roses: Okay, shameless plug; sue me. Business is finally starting to gain some ground, yippee! I will be showing my flowers, tutus, and accessories at the grand opening for a local dance studio on July 17. I'm pretty excited and hoping to make a few dollars while doing it. Wish me luck! http://jilliansroses.weebly.com/
As always, feel free to add input on things you like/hate/question. I'm always looking ideas to spark blog topics.
Until tomorrow.

I NEEEEEEDDDDDD some of these pushpins...please feel free to "donate" to my cause!
Very exciting about having your flowers at a local dance studio opening!! Have you thought about doing any shows, like Indie Emporium? Its a local artists show...my friend who makes jewelry goes. Good luck!!
PS Those flowers are at The Spa waiting whenever you come by. Both my girls know to expect you.
Re: Diane. Look for a delivery of flowery pushpins in mid-October. Say, October 12?
Re: SS. I suck. My husband sucks too. He tells me every night he will be going to pick them up the next day, but that never happens. I need them(!), so I swear that if he does not pick them up tomorrow (Fri), I will come by after work. Deal? And I have never heard of Indie Emporium. I will look it up STAT.
:) No worries. They are there whenever you are. And definitely look Indie Emporium up. I saw on their website that they have booths for 75 or 125...and you get 100% of sales. My friend (Gleeful Peacock, she is on Facebook so you could always msg her for input) loves the show. I think that was her first show actually...
Anywho. I hope you keep making the flowers..when I have a little girl I will definitely buy!
